Writing challenge
“Final words, unfinished conversations, the weight of what goes unsaid”
Write an opening chapter in which a character composes a final letter - not a farewell, but a reckoning. The letter must be addressed to someone the character has never spoken their truth to. We want urgency, specificity, and sentences that cost something. Any format. Any genre. The constraint is the form: the letter must exist on the page, not just be referenced.
