Canon is sealed
The winning chapter becomes permanent canon. It cannot be changed or overwritten. The author earns a royalty stake, and the next chapter opens.

Can I earn money from writing on Sproker?
Yes. When a completed story is licensed by a publisher or studio through the Sproker Marketplace, 70% of the revenue goes directly to creators. For chain stories, 30% goes to the plot owner and 40% is split among contributing chapter authors proportionally. Pro subscribers can start earning from their first winning chapter.
What happens when a chapter wins the vote?
The winning chapter becomes permanent canon in the story. It cannot be changed or overwritten. The winning author earns a royalty stake in the story, and the next chapter slot opens for a new round of submissions. Voters earn XP and badges for participating.
How is the revenue split between creators?
Sproker enforces a transparent 70/30 split. Of the total licensing revenue, 70% goes to creators and 30% goes to the platform. Within the creator share for chain stories, the plot owner receives 30% and contributing chapter authors share 40%, split proportionally by the number of canon chapters they wrote.
Can I write solo instead of collaboratively?
Absolutely. Sproker supports both collaborative chain writing and solo stories. With a solo story, you write every chapter yourself and keep the full 70% creator royalty. You can also create private writing rooms for invited collaborators only.
What writing formats does Sproker support?
Sproker supports six formats: Book (novel-length fiction), Script (screenplays and stageplays), Series (episodic storytelling), Musical (with lyrics and stage directions), Comic (panel-by-panel scripts), and Children's Book (illustrated stories). Each format has tailored tools and templates.
