What becomes a book
Three kinds of book, one print shop
Anything finished on Sproker can be ordered as a physical copy. The shop typesets it, generates the print-ready PDF and hands it to the printer.
A finished story
Any completed story in the writer, in any of the six formats. Choose the binding, the paper and the finish; the page count decides the price.
A children's book, with its pictures
Every page prints in colour with its illustration and the words where you placed them, so the book your child holds is the one you made on screen.
A life story, with a dedication
The memoir built from your milestones and photos, typeset as a hardcover. Add a printed dedication and it is a gift.

Finish the book
Seal the last chapter, or mark the picture book or life story as complete. The print shop only lists what is finished.

Hardcover or paperback, matte or gloss, standard or premium paper. The price is shown for your page count and currency before you pay.

It arrives
Lulu prints on demand and ships to you. Delivery typically takes 5-10 business days after the order is confirmed, and you can follow it from your orders page.
The print shop lives in the studio, because it needs to know which of your books are finished.

Every finished story can also leave the studio as a file, so a reader with a phone or an e-reader gets it the same evening.

- What can I print?
- Any finished story you own or co-wrote, an illustrated children's book and a life story memoir. Anything still being written is not listed yet.
- What does a book cost?
- It depends on the page count, the binding (hardcover or paperback), the paper and the finish, and it is shown in your currency before you pay. There is no subscription for printing and no minimum order.
- Who prints and ships it?
- Lulu, our print-on-demand partner. Books are printed when ordered and typically arrive 5-10 business days after the order is confirmed.
- Do pictures print?
- Yes. A children's book prints in colour, one picture page per book page, with the text where you placed it. A life story prints with its photos.
- Can I get the book as a file instead?
- Yes. From the writer you can export any finished story as EPUB, PDF or Word, with your cover. The life story exports as PDF.
