What are challenges?
Challenges are time-limited writing competitions with specific prompts or constraints. "Write a 500-word story using only dialogue," "Retell a fairy tale set in space," etc. They're a fun way to practice craft and earn XP.
Joining a challenge
Browse active challenges in the Community module. Click "Join" to enter. Write your submission in the provided editor and submit before the deadline. Each challenge shows the prompt, rules, word limits, and time remaining.
Voting and results
After submissions close, the community votes on entries. The top entries earn XP, badges, and recognition on the leaderboard. Challenges are a great way to build your reputation and discover other talented writers.
